王瑛 | Ying Wang Ph.D. | 科顏設計
Ying is a scientific illustrator based in Taipei. From her academic background in plant molecular biology, she is interested in drawing diagrams, designing infographic panel and conveying abstract concepts for scientific journal publication. She uses a variety of media, including digital, watercolor, and pen and ink. She believes that great visual arts are powerful tools to deliver the truth of science and the beauty of nature.
科學繪圖師/設計師，曾經的植物分子學家。喜歡整理資料與製圖，因為對於視覺傳達設計的喜愛，博士班畢業之後開始學習設計與繪畫，同時也擔任實驗室論文發表的藝術總監。2019 前往美國加州修習科學繪圖學程，往專業之路邁進。2020 回台成立個人工作室。
現居台北，為自由工作者，工作內容包括了學術論文的圖表繪製、科普面向的資訊圖解。專長為梳理複雜的學術資料，將抽象的概念轉換成圖像。喜歡欣賞一切美的事物，相信好的繪圖能讓科學好看又好懂。
